Provide Basic Life Support (HLTAID010) equips learners with the essential skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies using basic life support techniques. This course ensures that participants are prepared to act quickly and effectively in critical situations, making them valuable assets in any workplace. Refresher training is recommended every 3 years to maintain competency.

Course Entry Requirements for Provide Basic Life Support (HLTAID010)

To enroll, participants must:

  • Wear enclosed footwear and suitable attire
  • Bring a pen or pencil for note-taking

Course Duration & Delivery

  • Duration: 1 day (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • Location: Open to the public and delivered upon request. This course can be conducted on-site or at Thurgoona Training Academy (TTA).
  • Delivery: Learners will engage in both theory and practical training activities.
  • Amenities: Morning tea, afternoon tea, coffee, and lunch are provided when delivered at TTA.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) & Pathways
