Provide Advanced First Aid
Provide Advanced First Aid (HLTAID014) course equips participants with the skills and knowledge needed to respond to advanced first aid situations. This comprehensive training covers life support, casualty management, coordination of first aid activities, and communicating essential incident details. You will also learn to provide critical support to other first aiders and medical personnel until additional help arrives. Refresher training is recommended every 3 years to maintain competency.

Course Entry Requirements for Provide Advanced First Aid (HLTAID014)
To enroll, participants must:
- Wear enclosed footwear and suitable attire
- Bring a pen for note-taking
Course Duration & Delivery
- Duration: 2 days (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Location: The course is open to the public and can be delivered on-site or at Thurgoona Training Academy (TTA).
- Delivery: Learners will engage in both theory and practical activities.
- Amenities: Morning tea, afternoon tea, coffee, and lunch are provided when delivered at TTA.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) & Pathways
