Heights Rescue (PUASAR022)
Heights Rescue (PUASAR022) is specifically designed for individuals who may need to rescue a worker from a fall or assist someone suspended using a pre-rigged system. This course does not cover the competency required for technical rope rescue but focuses on practical rescue techniques for non-technical height emergencies.

Course Entry Requirements
To enroll, participants must:
- Wear safety boots or enclosed footwear, suitable attire
- Bring a pen or pencil for note-taking
- Provide evidence of completing a Full Heights course and holding a valid HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid certification at the time of booking
Course Duration and Delivery
- Duration: 1 day (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Location: Courses are open to the public and conducted upon request. Training can be delivered on-site or at our Academy.
- Delivery: Learners will engage in both theory and practical activities.
- Amenities: Morning tea, afternoon tea, coffee, and lunch are provided when the course is delivered at Thurgoona Training Academy (TTA)
Recognition of Prior Learning and Pathways
RPL is not offered for Heights Rescue (PUASAR022). Participants who complete this unit of competency may be eligible for entry into further study such as: PUA20619 Certificate II in Public Safety
