First Aid Refresher (HLTAID011)

First Aid Refresher (HLTAID011) course updates the essential skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, and management of casualties, incidents, and other first aiders until medical or additional assistance arrives. Refresher training is recommended every three years to maintain competency.

Course Entry Requirements for First Aid Refresher (HLTAID011)

To enroll, participants must:

  • Wear enclosed footwear and suitable attire
  • Bring a pen or pencil for note-taking
  • Provide evidence of having previously completed Provide First Aid or a Level 2 Senior First Aid course prior to attending

Course Duration and Delivery

  • Duration: 1 day (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • Location: Courses are held monthly at our Academy and can also be delivered on-site upon request.
  • Learners will engage in both theory and practical activities.
  • Amenities: Morning tea, afternoon tea, coffee, and lunch are provided for courses conducted at Thurgoona Training Academy (TTA).

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Pathways

RPL is not available for First Aid Refresher (HLTAID011). This unit is part of the HLT Health Training Package. For more details, visit cshisc.com.au.

Learner Support
