Emergency Planning Committee Member
The Emergency Planning Committee Member course prepares individuals to take charge of developing and implementing their organisation’s emergency procedures. This hands-on program empowers participants to actively manage every stage of emergency response planning, from the initial response to post-emergency recovery, ensuring that safety protocols are effectively in place.

Course Entry Requirements
To enroll, participants must:
- Safety boots or enclosed footwear
- Bring a pen or pencil for note-taking
Course Duration & Delivery
- Duration: 2 days (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Location: Courses are open to the public and conducted upon request. Training can be delivered on-site or at our Academy.
- Delivery: Theory and practical activities.
- Amenities: Morning tea, afternoon tea, coffee, and lunch are provided when the course is delivered at Thurgoona Training Academy (TTA).
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) & Pathways
RPL is not offered for this course. Upon completion, learners may be eligible for further study, such as the PUA20622 Certificate II in Public Safety.
