Confined Space Rescue (PUASAR022)
Confined Space Rescue (PUASAR022) is designed for individuals who may need to assist or rescue someone from an enclosed or partially enclosed area. This course is not intended for those seeking technical confined space rescue certification. Participants will engage in various rescue scenarios and use a wide range of rescue equipment throughout the training.

Course Entry and Requirements for Confined Space Rescue (PUASAR022)
To enroll, participants must have the following:
- Safety boots or enclosed footwear
- Appropriate work attire
- Be clean-shaven, as per Australian Standard AS/NZS1715
- A hard hat and a pen or pencil
Additionally, participants must have previously completed a Full Confined Space Entry course and hold a valid HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid certification. Proof of these qualifications is required upon booking.
Course Duration and Delivery
- Duration: 1 day (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Location: Available at our training facility or on-site at your location
- Delivery: The course includes both theory and practical activities.
- Amenities: Morning tea, afternoon tea, coffee, and lunch are provided for courses conducted at Thurgoona Training Academy (TTA).
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Pathways
RPL is not available for this course. Upon completion, participants may qualify for further study, such as the PUA20619 Certificate II in Public Safety.
