Construction Induction Card Course Overview

The Construction Induction Card is essential for anyone working in the construction industry. This course provides a comprehensive introduction to legislation, hazard identification, communication procedures, and incident response specific to construction sites. The course is designed to ensure all workers understand the basic safety requirements and compliance standards of the construction industry.

Course Entry Requirements

Participants must provide 100 points of ID on the day of training. Suitable attire and writing materials are required.

Delivery and Duration

  • Duration: 6 hours face-to-face
  • Time: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
  • This course is delivered every second Tuesday at the Academy
  • Courses can be delivered on-site upon request.
  • Morning tea/coffee and lunch are provided when training is held at TTA

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Pathways

RPL is not offered.

Learner Support

We provide full support for learners requiring assistance with language, literacy, or numeracy. If you have any special dietary needs, please notify us prior to the course start date. Our Student Handbook includes training guidelines and is available on our website. Additionally, students have the right to appeal or lodge a complaint regarding their assessment.
