Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) or otherwise known as CPRÂ equips learners with the confidence and skills needed to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants. Participants will practice CPR techniques using an adult, child, and baby manikin, and will also learn to operate a trainer defibrillator. This course aligns with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines, which recommend annual refresher training to maintain competency.

Perform CPR on an adult, child, and infant for at least 2 minutes

Upon successful completion provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (HLTAID009), participants may consider roles such as:

Course Entry Requirements
To enroll, participants must:
Wear enclosed footwear and suitable attire
Bring a pen or pencil
Be able to demonstrate CPR while kneeling on the floor
Course Duration and Delivery
Duration: 4 hours (8:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
Location: Courses are held twice a month at our Academy and can also be conducted on-site upon request.
Learners will engage in both theory and practical training.
Amenities: Morning tea and coffee are provided when the course is delivered at Thurgoona Training Academy (TTA).
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Pathways
RPL is not available for provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (HLTAID009). This unit forms part of the HLT Health Training Package. For further details, visit cshisc.com.au.
