Manage First Aid (HLTAID016) is designed for individuals who are responsible for overseeing first aid practices in the workplace. This nationally recognised training provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to establish, maintain, and evaluate a first aid facility, ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees. Through both theoretical and hands-on learning, you will gain the confidence to manage first aid procedures and contribute to a safer work environment.

This course is aligned with the HLTAID016 unit of competency, which covers the effective management of first aid in the workplace, ensuring compliance with WHS regulations and fostering a proactive approach to emergency preparedness.

Entry Requirements

Participants must wear enclosed footwear, suitable attire, and bring a pen.

Course Delivery and Duration

  • Duration: 1 Day (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • Location: Held monthly at the Academy or on-site upon request
  • Delivery: Training includes both theoretical and practical activities.
  • Amenities: Morning/afternoon tea and lunch provided for Academy-based courses

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Pathways

  • RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) is not available due to the short nature of this course.
