Undertake Confined Space Rescue PUASAR025 equips participants with the competencies required to perform rescue operations in confined spaces. This course is tailored for individuals who may be called upon to rescue workers from enclosed spaces and includes practical training for safe and effective confined space rescue.

Entry Requirements
Participants must be medically fit and comfortable working in enclosed spaces. Safety boots or enclosed footwear, gloves, a hard hat, and a clean-shaven face are required. Participants should also bring a pen or pencil.
Participants will need to provide evidence of having completed the following units of competency (or equivalent) prior to enrolment:
RIIWHS202E – Enter and Work in Confined Spaces (Within 2 years)
MSMWHS216 – Operate Breathing Apparatus (Within 12 months)
HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid (Within 3 years)
Delivery And Duration
- Duration: 2 days (8.30am to 4.30pm)
- Location: This course is open to the public and delivered at our purpose-built facility on request.
- Delivery: Training includes both theoretical and practical activities, led by qualified trainers with relevant and current qualifications.
- Amenities: Morning and afternoon tea, coffee, and lunch are provided when conducted at Thurgoona Training Academy (TTA).
RPL/Learning Pathways
Due to the short duration of this course, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is not offered.
