COURSE OVERVIEW  

This unit describes the skills required to monitor and operate liquified chlorine gas disinfection systems and report on process quality control whilst working safely. This includes being able to demonstrate correct use of self-contained breathing apparatus.

This unit applies to those working as operational staff with specific responsibility for disconnecting and connecting liquified chlorine gas containers in water and wastewater treatment plants.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS  

Safety Boots or Enclosed footwear, suitable attire, hard hat, a pen/pencil. Clean Shaven as per AS/NZS1715.

DELIVERY AND DURATION  

Duration - Eight (8) Hours

Time - 8.30am to 4.30pm

Work safely with chlorine is open to the public and can be delivered on your site or at the Academy. Learners will receive training in both theory and practical activities. Morning tea/coffee and lunch is provided when delivered at TTA. Please advise office of any dietary requirements

RPL/LEARNING PATHWAYS
